With which procedures can lower blepharoplasty be combined?
Lower eyelid surgery can sometimes be combined with laser skin resurfacing to tighten wrinkles, under-eye ring fillers or botulinum toxin to remove eyelid bags at the outer edges of the eyelids. A combination of lower and upper eyelid surgery or a combination of eyelid surgery with a mini-facelift is also possible.
What is the course of treatment
Before the treatment, the area is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. The solution is applied with an ultra-thin needle to the middle layer of the skin (the so-called mesoderm), i.e. to a depth of approximately 3 mm. The injections are almost painless, precisely because of the extreme thinness of the needle used. If the patient is sensitive to pain, it is possible to prepare before the procedure by applying a numbing cream. For an ideal effect, it is advisable to repeat the treatment 2 - 3 times with an interval of 3 - 4 weeks.
Is the result of mesotherapy permanent
Mesotherapy belongs to the supportive methods, the effect of which is prolonged by gradual dosage, which activates skin cells, collagen and revitalizes the skin surface in the long term.
